1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HifzPath ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

HifzPath is a Quran recitation and memorization application that provides:

• Quran recitation with speech recognition verification
• Memorization progress tracking
• Quizzes and gamification features
• Leaderboards and community features
• Azkar (remembrance) and notifications

3. User Accounts

• You may use the app as a guest (anonymous) or sign in with Google.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• Anonymous accounts have limited functionality; signing in enables cloud sync and leaderboards.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Free tier: Core features are available for free including Quran recitation, progress tracking, and quizzes.
• Premium subscription: Additional features may be offered through a premium subscription.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's payment terms.
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store → Subscriptions. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or networks.
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.
• Use automated means to access the app or collect data.
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity on leaderboards.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Quran text is in the public domain and is not claimed as our intellectual property.
• The app design, code, and original content are owned by HifzPath and protected by copyright.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without permission.

7. User Content

Any feedback, suggestions, or content you submit through the app may be used by us to improve the service. You retain ownership of any content you provide but grant us a license to use it for improving the app.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be available at all times without interruption.
• Speech recognition will be 100% accurate.
• All data will be preserved in case of system failures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HifzPath shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases, but you may still request deletion of your data.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
